Our Philosophy
Putnam Chiropractic Center has been serving the Hurricane and Teays Valley area for over 40 years. As the first chiropractic office in Putnam County, our office has been the name to trust in chiropractic wellness.
Meet Dr. Tony Erwin
Dr. Erwin is a Hurricane native and 1995 graduate of Hurricane High School. Dr. Erwin as an advisor for sports concussion protocols, and serves on the Ignite Athletics board as safety director.
"My passion has always been people, that was a major influence on my decision to become a chiropractor. Once I understood the philosophy and role of chiropractic in today's health care there was nothing else I wanted to dedicate my education and career to. Helping others with acute pain is very gratifying, but educating people to better understand and take control of their own health has been a blessing." -Tony Erwin attended West Virginia State College and was a member of the Yellow Jackets football team. Finishing his undergraduate requirements at Marshall University, Dr. Erwin was accepted to Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis Missouri. Dr. Erwin's career at Logan included becoming the school's first Accelerated Science Program President, serving as Class President, a member of the Logan College basketball team, and graduating in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Erwin returned home where he now lives with his wife, Annie, and children, Kate, Evan, and Audrey. He currently volunteers as a team physician for the Hurricane High School football program and works directly with the Putnam County School Board.
